Dear TCA Member,

This last week has been a busy week and this weeks' email has been aptly named ‘Late Cut", given that I am really late in sending this out. The big reason for the delay is that we had some very interesting developments over the past week. Read on!

TCA- DreamsonFrames Patnership:
TCA has partnered with DreamsonFrames to promote their recently produced Telegu and Tamil movie -Meipporul/Yethi Nijam. The movies release on the 24th of April. These movies are Produced/Directed by a fellow TCA member, Natraj Kumar of Kasturi Pade and Narayan Sundararajan of Kasturi Pade has acted in it.

About the Movies:
DreamsonFrames presents Meipporul/Yethi Nijam, the first South Indian movie to be filmed entirely in the USA releasing April 24, 2009 at IMC6 Cinema, San Jose
"Meipporul/Yethi Nijam, a full-length feature film from a gang of NRIs, might just become South Indian cinema's first crossover film" - Indian Express
"Probably the time is ripe for the new breed of filmmakers [in the Indian movie industry]" - from an article featuring Meipporul/Yethi Nijam in The Hindu
Meipporul/Yethi Nijam will run 2 hours with English subtitles in the US. The film will be releasing at IMC6, 1433, The Alameda, San Jose, CA on April 24, 2009 in the Bay Area. Come, check it out and spread the word among your friends and family!

Special Mention:
Chumma TP V/S Chargers game: This is special as Chumma TP scored their first win in TCA! Congratulations Chumma TP! Chargers put up a very competitive total of 88 runs for 10 wickets in 17.1 overs. New Volunteers:
Saurabh Singh of Chumma TP has joined the Marketing committee and Katar Singh of Yorkers has joined the Appeal Committee. I am personally very excited about having them on board. We are still looking for volunteers, so please email me if you are interested.

Encourage others to join the TCA email list:
The registration on this email list has improved, but we are still not at a 100% Please ask your fellow teammates to join the TCA email list, in case they haven't done so already. Click on the Yahoo group icon on the www.tca-bayarea.com site. This is the medium we have been using to communicate efficiently and it can only be successful if everyone is signed up for the email list.
