Tennisball Cricket Association (TCA) is the largest cricket association of its kind in the United States established in the year 2002. Prior to year 2002 TCA was operating under the name of Bay Area Tennisball Cricket Association from year 2000 and it subsequently converted as Tennisball Cricket Association as a not-for-profit association. TCA currently operates in San Francisco Bay area under Bay Area chapter & San Ramon Chapter. Members of TCA are amateur tennis ball cricket clubs/teams primarily spread across over 30 cities around bay area.
Mission
The mission of TCA, a non-profit organization, is to collaboratively lead the growth of tennis ball cricket through competitive organized events and spread awareness of the game of cricket within non playing communities
Status of TCA
TCA is a California not-for-profit association, exempt under IRS section 501(c) (3) sub-section 509(a) (2) officially incorporated on October 10, 2002. Contributions made to TCA are tax deductible, effective October 10, 2002. TCA is classified as a public charity organization under section 501(c)(3) on the basis of meeting one-third public support criteria.
TCA Events
TCA had approximately over 70 teams played for Year 2009, and expecting the same or more number of teams to join TCA. TCA's roster has more than 5000 members who are registered as part of these clubs/teams.

b. Off Field Awards (Sponsored awards)
This year TCA is creating various community outreach programs for TCA community that will not only create on field excitement but also off field engagements and excitements. Along with the above mentioned TCA events following off field programs are in place to drive TCA community members to the TCA website and participate in off field competition to win exciting awards and prizes.

c. Womens Cricket
In addition to the adult mens league, TCA promotes cricket among women during various events.
d. Kids Training Camp
In addition to the adult league, TCA promotes cricket among the youth and this is achieved by conducting kids coaching camps since 2004 which are run by TCA volunteers and parents. TCA has received the coveted BASHOF youth grant towards this camp and San Jose Mercury News has covered it in Year 2004.
TCA and the community
TCA promotes the sport of cricket in the community and also uses it as a means to support social causes. TCA has conducted various charity events and contributed to disaster relief for the South Asian Tsunami and the earthquake in Gujarat, India. TCA has also supported various social organizations like Spandana, BATA, SEF and ILP for their causes.

TCA is a 501 3 c nonprofit registered with CA state and does IRS tax filings. TCA provides receipts for all the grants/sponsorships it receives which can be claimed as a tax benefit by the sponsor. Additionally, TCA also participates in banner exchange only programs with other 501 3 c organizations.
